Myofascial Release: Lower Extremities, Psoas, Shoulder Girdle & Cervical Spine
Myofascial Release Level I
Contact Hours: 16

mrflevel1 2-1This class presents a number of perspectives on fascia including current information on the fibroblast's response to tensioning techniques, changes to the gamma bias via MFR, and how responses in the autonomic nervous system account for many of the changes seen in MFR.  All of this information will be explored theoretically and experientially. This becomes the basis for mastering a range of myofascial techniques and approaches that open joints, realign muscles and repattern the neuromuscular system. Participants can expect noticeable changes in their own body as well as having increased confidence in their ability making deep and long lasting changes with their clients' myofascial restrictions.
